Patten and Alyssa’s intimate seaside wedding in Florida was centered on an intimate gathering of their closest family and friends, neutral details and legacy.
It was love at first sight for Patten and Alyssa. After their first date, Alyssa went home and told her best friend that she knew she was going to marry Patten one day.
Fast forward a few years and that is just what they did! Soon after came a precious little girl! They had never had a wedding, and it was Alyssa’s dream to do so when they renewed their vows to each other. She wanted to wear a gorgeous wedding dress, walk down the isle with a bouquet in hand, and make it a destination wedding experience on the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast of Florida!
What was once a dream of extensive wedding details and guest lists became a desire to create a special time for their family, and the vows they rewrote for each other.
As Alyssa’s father walked her down the aisle, I saw how all of the little visions she had dreamed of had come together into something more beautiful than just the physical surroundings. Everything they chose to do was full of intention and purpose.
Right after they read the vows they rewrote for each other, they asked everyone to come up and surround them and their little girl as they dedicated not only their lives to following Jesus, but also their little girl’s life! There was not a dry eye on that beach!
I knew after our initial consultation in which both Alyssa and I teared up during that they were so special, but they were that and more!
