Inherent Brand Shoot | Victoria Austin Designs

It was such an honor to photograph my friend Tori Austin of

Victoria Austin Designs

for her new website launch! Her brand aesthetic is simple, pure, clean & elegant. It is absolutely dreamy!

Tori's invitation designs are exquisite! Each is tailored to the bride & groom. I loved them so much that I had to have her design invitations for my own wedding!

Romantic Bridal Portraits | Santa Rosa Beach, Florida Wedding Photographer

I love styled shoots. The entire process of dreaming up a vision and seeing it come to life is intoxicating. The venue. The people. The styling. The details. The florals. Every bit of it. This styled Bridal shoot was a dream. The most amazing team came around the vision and completely made it their own. As we were setting the grounds with all of the details, clouds rolled in from nowhere and it began to pour. We very quickly had to change the location of the table and other details, but this team remained super positive and energetic! They are the ones that really made this beautiful vision come to life.

One last walk
There are times as a photographer that you shoot something that makes you feel like you can breathe again. For me, it was this shoot. The colors. The beauty. The elegance. The story behind it..

I was describing to Nikita one day a shoot that had been in my head that I had wanted to photograph so bad, but at the time was a mere dream. I began to describe to her, "I want a long, gold dress.. Flowers.. Elegance..." And she calmly and confidently looked at me and said, "I have those."

Nikita competed and placed in pageants during high school. It was this dress that she wore during one of those pageants. She absolutely loved it. (I mean, look at it on her!) She had kept it over the years and had hoped that she could be photographed in it one day. When she showed me the dress, I was thrilled. It was exactly what I had envisioned!

Everything fell into place from there. Nikita had her friend, Rayshelle, do her makeup for the shoot, which was significant because Rayshelle had been the one to do her makeup for her when she competed at the pageant in this dress years before.

Everything about this shoot was carefully planned and has a story of significance behind it.
The most significant detail behind this shoot is that this was her last time wearing a dress like this. In just a few short weeks, she will be walking on the stage in a beautiful dress, but this time, it will be white.
